Call for Submissions!
Attention young writers! The 2026 Write @ Your Library creative writing contest is seeking submissions of poems and short stories from students in grades 7 through 12 from across Grey and Bruce Counties. Submissions are also being sought for the cover design of the 2026 anthology.
The 2026 Write @ Your Library creative writing contest is open to all students in grades 7 to 12 in Grey and Bruce Counties. Winning entries will receive cash prizes of up to $100 and have their work published in the Write for 2026 anthology.

This event is coordinated by the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library and is offered through the participation of Blue Mountains Public Library, Bruce County Public Library, Grey Highlands Public Library, Hanover Public Library, Meaford Public Library, Southgate Public Library and West Grey Public Library.
