The library is pleased to welcome local artist Brian Murray to the Community Art Exhibit for the month of January. Brian’s “Art in the Open” oil-on-canvas paintings embrace his interest in the natural environment and have become the signature theme of his work.

Drawing and sketching have been part of Brian’s life from a very early age. Over the years he has dabbled in many art forms; however, oil on canvas is his preferred medium. Retirement has afforded Brian the opportunity to dedicate more of his time to painting and exploring new techniques and subject matter.

The Community Art Exhibit offers an opportunity for local visual artists to display their work.  Artists or groups interested in displaying their work must complete an application form and agree to the Library policy.  Information about the program can be found at https://www.osngupl.ca/community-art-exhibits/ or email info@library.osngupl.ca.
